Best app for online live chess but no chess ai or settings. Its simple yet elegant.

Total trash, after 1 game, the app keeps on crashing

used to play a lot untill they lied about an update saying that it was to fix glitches but the truth was that from now on you have a maximum of 3 games to play by day and you now need to pay to be able to play more than 3 games a day... lying thieves!!!

I like how it signs into Instantchess and seaches for an opponent in a single step. Graphics on the iPhone and iPad app are good but a little unconventional looking on the iPad app. Simple clean presentation with a quick and snappy interface. Dont like that I have to leave the app and go to settings to access the settings of the app. Hate the sounds but they can be turned off. A gong when you find an opponent and a clock ticking when your opponent moves. I find both extremely annoying. When I first used this app I felt it was too simple and lacked features but the more I used it, the more I appreciated the simple elegance. Its now my favourite online chess app and I have tried them all. Oh, one more great thing...if you loose the connection or get a phone call mid game, it signs right back in again automatically and resumes the same game. None of the other programs do that. Also, one innovation on the iPhone version is the crosshairs showing where your finger is when you move a piece. There have been a few different tricks tried in other chess apps to solve the problem of accurately moving that little piece with a fat finger on such a small screen and this ones seems to work the best. Finally, I found it to have the least lag off all the other chess apps when used over 3G.

You get a couple free games, then you have to pay. What a misleading ripoff!

Dad has been playing for 10 years on this service, affordable and lots of competition. Im in on it now too, great fun.

Great app but the interface isnt as intuitive as it could be...the gameplay itself is fine, however navigating from say selecting the board style you want and back to a game isnt obvious.

This game is the best online game you can get because I am on it and there is thousands and thousands of people are in it and its free. Best part is its easy to use.

when the pawn goes to the queen, all resets, correct that or it is not possible to play.

It has only one big problem - message boxes, when your opponent suggest you something. Another smaller problem is that I dont see my timer when it is not my turn.
